Which Gibson did you buy? I had an '81 Standard for a few years back in the early 90s, it was a bastard to play for some reason* but sounded killer...
* string tension was super tight, you needed steel digits to bend notes on that thing... Turned me into a really good player for about five minutes, lost it all now, obvs... 😋

I love my tokai love rock. In every way superior to the poS Gibbo I bought in 2005.
May need to sell tho :(
