I'd get a decent speaker and a separate Bluetooth receiver to plug into your HiFi. You can get decent ones for £20-25 or so.

Hifi - loud and good sound, but wouldn't mind being able to play music off my phone so I can lay lazily on the sofa listening to music from my phone without having to get up to change music.

Portable but decent Bluetooth speaker - can take with me to the garage, kitchen, garden, holiday...

Juice SoundSquare scores high on portability, works well for background music in quiet places. Don't expect it to drown out the power tools in the garage/kitchen/garden.

Thinking more something like this pioneer, not super portable like that but chargeable and moveable...

Thinking about it, my mate has a pair and a woofer, they are alreet, but yeah...

I have one as I travel a lot. If you're going to spend weeks in hotel rooms then you want something that sounds decent and can survive being bounced around in a suitcase.

You could try Chromecast Audio. Ticks the hifi box at a very good price. Then get a Bluetooth speaker of your choosing, or even some other portable speaker w. a line-in and get another Chromecast Audio?

Depends which carbon rails. 7mm round ones fit most seat posts, some people suggest you should avoid short rail clamps, excessive overhang and sharp edges, but you should already be avoiding those things regardless of rail material. Many carbon rails are oval 7mm×9mm, which will be fine with some clamp designs but either need special clamping parts or won't work at all with others.

Shops often don't show the width for that iteration, though Schwalbe says that one is 37mm. I have some very nice Col De La Vies in that size that say 26x1 1/2 to fit rim 26x1 3/8. I would let them go for a song (2 new 2 used in good shape) but you couldn't afford the shipping.

If the clamping bolt(s) move(s) the two halves of the clamp together along an axis orthogonal to a plane bisecting both rails, you might not need new clamping parts. Anything else and you almost certainly will. Which post are you using/planning to use?

Avoid 3T posts, even with the oval rail kit. They don't seem to fit well, and you need to take a dremel to the rail clamp for it to work.
