I assume you mean that we should have spoken up when he started insulting Scousers, but we weren't scousers.
We also had a chance when he moved onto Mancs,
Likewise Norfolk, Newcastle and Stoke
Thinking about it that way, I agree. I only got upset when he started having a go at Stoke, and by then it was too late :(
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
As I've said before, his employers were spineless and he deserves to work for a better company.
