Quite honestly @ExTra, if you can't do it yourself, then you're really better off taking Patch to the vet. It's unlikely they'd have to sedate her/knock her out; most likely a couple of experienced nurses will do the trick. They'll know just how much force to use, without hurting her :-)
I will give it a last attempt over the weekend, and if i fail then will speak to the vet again. I also didnt think sedation is needed, but thats what they told me, maybe they thoght the problem wa more awrious then it actually is.
