In the second arrondissement of Paris, away from the red-light districts and close to the center the Beverley is the last porno cinema in the city and one of the last in Europe. The owner and projectionist is Monsieur Maurice Laroche. Seventy years, a passion for the genre film and a decent collection of 35 mm to display in his room. Twelve euros for twelve hours of projection, the audience - almost all men, from the very young to grandparents waiting to go to take the grandchildren from school - may come and go as you please. From 15 to 18 the room is almost always sold out. Who goes to Beverley loves vintage eroticism, not coincidentally the films shown are all of the 60s, 70s and 80s. One way to keep alive the imaginary over the overwhelming power of the online porn, free and "without a soul", explains Monsieur Maurice.
