Whatever. I've had mine for over a decade, they just work. No tape, no sealant, no cans of air. That's what gets them #tester_approved.

The modern hookless rims designed for tubeless only need Stans tape, goo and a modicum of skill (or an airshot canister) to go up and while they won't be quite so secure as UST they can be raced on for 12hrs at 22psi without burping/losing pressure.
