Main reynolds tandem tubes have arrived!
There's talk of shaping them using a custom die and two 10 ton press' to give this family chariot the all important Aero edge.
The other tube selection hasn't been nailed down yet.

This will never be ridden at sustained speeds where aero benefits would come into play;) Stiffness is absolute key here and oval is stiffer than round. Plus, I dislike skinny tubed Tandems.

Look, I ain't no man of science. Pretty sure I saw something on the Santana site first then read a few discussions. No doubt, I've misunderstood to a degree. Matt's main man Tom is a man of science however (Cambridge physics grad) so I reckon between the two of them they'll get it right :)

I'd steer clear of advice from somebody who uses "efficiency" in that context without qualifying which efficiency they are talking about.
This is why you can't have nice thing.
