Almost same thing happened, order was $39 in total including delivery so I presumed no custom chargers.
On USPS tracking website says “Delivered” but I didn’t receive anything and 2 days later got card from Post Office that my package held due to customs charge of £11.28. WTF was there change in charges recently? -

Good place to get a 24.5-31.8mm shim?
-

Sorted. Called royal mail and they tracked the package down at the local delivery office. Just been round there and paid 12 quid for customs. Rip. Apparently it happens all the time when stuff is delivered to business addresses that the customs card gets lost.
Most of the fee was a service charge (8 quid). -

Tracking number wasn't recognised when I put it in, but royal mail themselves could see the info on their system.

I realise that the answer to this question is probably that people just don't read road signs/markings but please help me retain my sanity - does this set of signs/markings show that the priorities on this roundabout are reversed and drivers have to give way to their left, despite it being a roundy-bout?

Handlebar one? or seatpost?

Handlebar.

Oh and what should I treat the inside of my frame with after using caustic soda to get out a seatpost.

As above from Evans or here http://tinyurl.com/nfaeyl5

Was a fellow advertising on here as a track wheel-builder, nice black things with H Plus rims, somewhere a bit up north I think, good looking website. Any ideas?

Sweet, thought there might be something blingier but I'm happy with those
-
• #71941
Little blingier would be self extracting crank bolts, M8 too;

Flush with copious amounts of water then hang up to dry. Then Waxoil or similar if you think it needs it.

Are any of this forum's beloved Dutch contingent in or near Apeldoorn?
I have a possible situation with a Marktplaats bike and the need for a huge favour.

This is more of a traffic island than roundabout. Double give way line means give way to the major road to right or left. Single white line at a roundabout means give way to the right. Does that make sense?

I have one of these stems - can I run it upside down so it's positive rise? The face plate isn't symmetrical which is why I ask.

Yes

Thank you

Figure while I'm doing all this stuff might aswell treat the inside, it's 2nd hand so can't tell what life it's had beyond the seatpost being stuck for 2+ years.

Sorry just saw this now. I'd recommend biking but it really depends if the snow has arrived or not, it can be really miserable and a little dangerous if you're not used to it! The advantage with the transport card is that it's valid for metro, bus, nightbus, tram, train and ferries but it is expensive-round 19 quid for 7 days. If I was you guys I'd wait and see what the weathers like when you arrive.

Constable Savage is right that it's not a roundabout. It will have been one once upon a time, but probably in response to systematic crash issues, its mode of operation was changed. This happens quite often where there are very unbalanced flows through a roundabout; the Elephant & Castle northern roundabout's constantly altered and added-to chaotic 'design' is one of the worst examples. As part of changing the design, all the entry markings had to be changed from roundabout markings to priority arrangements with give-ways. Needless to say, here it is still a one-way arrangement around the central island. Here my guess would be that there were persistent crash issues between traffic going from the A505 Cambridge Road to the B656 Walsworth Road and traffic turning from the A505 Nightingale Road into the B656 Walsworth Road, with flows on the former alignment much greater than on the latter, which is why the latter alignment was deprioritised.
Have they sent you the tracking number so you can see for yourself? Sounds a bit weird.
