  • I've ordered something from the US. Less than $50. Nothing dodgy.
As it hadn't arrived in the specified time I contacted the seller, who says they can see from the tracking number that it arrived with UK customs on Oct 15th. The parcel was sent 'tracked', and says' delivered in UK' but I guess that could mean to customs.
I have had no contact to say I owe money.
Anyone got a contact email/number of someone I can speak to at customs? Or anyone had any similar issues?

  • Have they sent you the tracking number so you can see for yourself? Sounds a bit weird.

  • How long ago? usually take a week or two.

Put their tracking number in Parcel Force and see what it said (if it work).

  • Almost same thing happened, order was $39 in total including delivery so I presumed no custom chargers.
On USPS tracking website says “Delivered” but I didn’t receive anything and 2 days later got card from Post Office that my package held due to customs charge of £11.28. WTF was there change in charges recently?

  • Yep I had the same thing, ordered some cable couplers from the US so I could switch between drops and tri bars easily, forgot about them, next thing I get a email from the supplier saying they have been returned as no one paid the customs..
turns out the card got lost via the work post, so I had to pay for return shipping and the cost to ship them again, on top of the customs charge when they get here
