Drunken purchase 6 months ago that went into storage and I've finally managed to get out.
Big at 46mm but fits well.
I wasn't sure of it back then but it's definitely grown on me.
I must say, it is very well made. Crisp dial and bezel.
The movement could sweep a bit smoother but for the price, I'm not complaining.

Sent a G Shock Pilot back to Casio UK for a battery change last year but when returned it was playing up and backlight never worked and LCD played up constantly but just thought i was flogging a dead horse as watch was 10 years old.
Took it to local watch repair shop after it died completely yesterday and they informed me that my official Casio UK battery replacement involved only replacing 1 of the 2 batteries the watch actually needs to function properly. Fucks sake.
£7 later with two cells in it again watch is perfect. Waiting to see how Casio explain that shit.

Lovely clasp detail. Modern bracelets feel better but don't look as cool

Any interest in an Ocean One with ceramic bezel?

Anyone have a tool to open up the back of a Traser P 6600? My battery died today and I have a shoot on Tuesday I'll need a watch for. Are they fairly common place? Would most watch repair places have them?

From google images, it seems like a straightforward back with 6 indents. Any watch shop will have a tool to open it.

Ta T, will pop into town tomorrow.

Lovely watch. These variants of the Speedmaster are a great deal too compared to the typical styles.

thanks mate , yes mark 2 is currently a real bargain in comparison to moonwatch . seeing is same movement and was the watch designed by omega and nasa to replace the moonwatch . i paid almost nothing for mine but was a state when i got it , i think the value of these is only going to increase .

In other news, here are some yet to be announced 2016 divers from Seiko. They've gone full-on old school with the case designs, which I love. Very reminiscent of the 1970s 150m models...

Anyone here with the know-how and means to replace a crystal and some gaskets. I want to get my old ufo in shape - replaced the crystal with an aftermarket one but it has jammed the chronograph hand. Otherwise, it's mechanically sound.

Just order a higher dome profile crystal from Cousins website.

Good idea.
Anyone here have a Nomos Orion in 35mm? Curious to know peoples experience with 'em and am outgrowing wearing diver all the time.
