  • i'm more inclined to file the ID of CK crown race than get the forks modded. Besides, this frameset is already sucking up money in repairs and mods

  • Thanks for the advice, i usually use flickr but i wanted to try directly with lfgss.

    Btw, here is my new project.

  • Nice frame! Is it off the forum? You have a picture of the whole thing?

  • Thanks, yes, i bought the Samson from Tychom but the Makino is from njs export.
    I'll post some proper pics soon.

  • I've joined the club

  • That colour changing paint looks great! Cant even imagine how this looks like in the flesh!

    Might be selling my nagasawa as I have another frame coming soon . It now has a Dura ace 7710 Cranks instead of the sugino.
    Around £1000 for the whole setup. If nobody's interested, will be posting it on ebay for more moniez...

  • @Shroom thanks for the cranks and bb. Perfect!
    Was meant to ask what you changed them for but I can see now, thats a beaut

  • lol, and i thought i was bad at keeping bikes :)

  • @Shroom
    So what's the new frame then?

    @haveo
    Looks brill, paint looks crazy, at least the bit I can see :P
    Can't wait to see it built up.

    @exs75
    I envy you. Presume they're both man sized as well?

  • Going to steal the parts from my Neil for now so will be quick, hoping that I have time to build it tomorrow. The paint is even better in person ;~)

  • People on here get things done so quickly.

  • What happened with your Concorde?

  • Makino looks very similar to mine but with a different fork, got aero seat stays?

  • dammit @haveo i wanted to built this for my wife as a christmas gift. she loved my bridgestone and now she wants one as well..

  • Sorry! If it makes you feel any better it was a Christmas present to myself

  • @HHC pretty much yes, the makino is 58,5 (ctt) and the samson is 60(ctt).

    @IR yes i've seen that on your flickr. Mine has aero seat stays too and was made for J.Matsuda.

  • Still in the works. Le sigh.
    Interest in it has really been subdued due to this guy:

    Though still love it, despite it being significantly on the small side. Tbh I realised that it probably should be built as a TT machine so will probably do what you did/attempted; build it fixed, find a track lo pro, tranfer parts ect.

    @exs75
    And there I was thinking mine was big, a meer 59 cm ST.

  • yessss it looks good! black grips would finish it off!

    id be careful with the clam on brakes though, it could damage the paint disgustingly. It happened to my older bridgestone

  • I've got some black and glitter champ grips on the way :~)

    I was going to put a thick layer of electrical tape or something similar underneath so save the paint, would that work?
    Was also considering lowering the gear and giving brakeless ago but I'm a bit scared of crashing into shit...

  • What we need are some of these. Dunno what they are or where to get them tho.

  • You might find the brakes unstable that way. Would recommend what @HHC posted! I think u can get them from japan. Not too sure.

    Just please please look after the paint! Haha

  • You won't crash. It's easier than you think.

  • Looks sick BTW.

    Paint is so good. Especially like this pic.
