I read somewhere that somebody was riding with Steve for a while. He noted his ultra low cadence and then Steve changed into a higher gear! He is doing this with a super low heart rate, he knows how to do this, but the mental strength to get out every day, now in the dark at both ends of his day is nothing short of astonishing.
200 plus miles every day, with the winter ahead.
