  • Tim Sherwood is a walking talking representation of modern life as portrayed by television such as The Apprentice.
"Tim Sherwood brings passion, knowledge, transferrable skills, please don't remember me as a bit of a knacker in midfield"

  • I remember 'Arry telling me to "Just facking run around a bit". The best bit of advice Tim Sherwood received"

  • "100%. Yeah I would. 100% I would. FACKING RUNAROUND A BIT"

  • Only 100%

You need to be giving it everything you have, not just 100%, everything.

  • Kane got a hat trick, Boruc had a bad day at the office and we got 5 against a bournemouth side who made a few chances against us.
Good for Kane's confidence that he got the hat trick, so his goal tally makes better reading, but his all around play has made up for the goal deficit in the opening games of the season. Not sure it's the kickstart his goal scoring season requires, as lots of other people seem to be thinking but it's reward for not hiding when the goals weren't going in.
Eriksen playing well, when he plays well, we play well, and look dangerous for it... Know we want a fluid interchangeable three behind the striker but Eriksen's never seemed like he's a good fit for that wide left role, always wants to come inside and be more influential closer to the striker...
Things are starting to gel, minor hiccup against Anderlecht notwithstanding, players are coming back from injury and there's going to be real competition for places. Fingers crossed for a go at grabbing that fourth spot, but we can't expect Liverpool and Chelsea to be stuck in the doledrums all season...
Quietly we're getting results, big game next week against Villa, need to keep the momentum up..

  • On the Chelsea Fancast this evening. One of the others is a blogger/journalist who has been constantly muttering anti TSO nonsense and bile. Should make for an uiinteresting evening.

  • Read that as 'Chelsea Fascist', which surely must exist.

  • dwight yorke, club legend, no coaching/management experience, the man for the job???

    http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/oct/26/dwight-yorke-aston-villa-tim-sherwood

  • He has a passion for the game and is willing to work hard giving it at least 110%

  • Has Dwight Yorke ever given anything more than about 50%?

  • big game next week against Villa

Lolz!!11! 3 points in the bag there Corny. May as well play the U21 team for a bit of senior game time.

Oh...and Dwight's been on the crackpipe again.
I see Poyet's climbing the betting too now. FML.

  • Shame Big Sam got snapped up....

  • Someone should run a statistical analysis of betting odds and the subsequent appointment of managers. I bet it would make for unsurprising reading.

  • Lazy stereotyping.

  • I'm trying to write up my appraisal.

  • Or should that be stereotyping lazy?

  • Great striker though.

  • He was. But he wasn't exactly a grafter was he?

Anyway, his claim that Villa should take a chance on an up and coming young manager is laudable, but shouldn't you actually be managing a team to make that claim?

  • "Dwight Yorke has shown great potential as a manager of a football team. Dwight Yorke has managed his profile and reputation to ensure maximum exposure from targeted opportunities. Maximal commercial value has been realised from these bespoke revenue streams SirAlan"

  • Bet villa approach Pulis.

  • Is Neil Warnock available?

  • I want this to happen so badly.

  • Liked that Stoke piece Clive. Have to say Stoke has always been my reference point for everything shit when talking about this country. I go you one further , I bet no Brits have been to stoke save those who live there or foolishly follow their team away from home
