Go for it if you like, probably better to removed the brake bridge while you're at it to have that OG look.

Cool. Not sure when I'll do it, but at least I'll first start with swapping out the brakes. Will keep all the parts for you

I was going to have @coldharbour do that to mine (remove brake bridge) and then replace it with two thin bits of sheet steel in the style of the brake bridge on @andypancake's Makino albeit slightly closer together like a venetian blind at 45deg. Alas, I have no money to do such a thing just yet.

Have always wondered about the possibility of removing the brake bridge on the v2! It would be fine? Doesn't remove any strength if done properly?
Not something I'm gonna be doing anytime soon but it's pretty much the worst bit of the v2

Doesn't remove any strength if done properly?
It doesn't, it's there to literally run a brake.

What mugaurds do people use ?
I have a V1 with 35cc Pasela's and was thinking of these to help keep me dry for winter:

A Pompino can keep you dry.
-
• #3474
Unless it has brake bridges they won't work
-

I was thinking of multiple zip ties to manufacture a solution.
What have others used ?
