Horizontal forarms on Hoods is best.
Worth raising the handlebars to make this comfyApparently it's also worth lowering the bars to get a good torso position combined with a straighter arm holding the drops
-
• #1132
Or lengthening the top tube and bending your arms

If you're going to go long, go really long
-
• #1134
But not so long that you can't hold yourself up round the banking
-

Hmmm, that gear Obree's turning looks a bit spinny...

not so long that you can't hold yourself up round the banking
Obree's bike is so long that his body is actually at the centre of curvature, so he doesn't experience any g-force.

"£45 for every second saved"

I Wonder what the '£-per-Aeroz' numbers are for my aero-weenie road bike.
Especially compared to the '£-per-gram saved' numbers for the weight weenie bike it replaced.I suspect my veiwspeed skewers arent going to rate brilliantly. But their shiney coefficeint is good.

Actually scrap that.
I dont want to know.

I think we all have to admit that the skin suit probably is a 'good' investment. If nothing else it would force me to lose a few kg - (thus saving cash by buying espresso instead of cafe latte)

I bought a tri suit, as advised, based on waist measurement. It makes me loads faster. As it squeezes me into an aero fetal position, and because I dont dare let folk get a descent look at me while wearing it.
I was thinking stuff on the bike really though.
The Shimano Tharsis stem was good. Probably a decent stem for the cost anyway. But its tidied my cables very nicely.
I picked a tririg front brake from Ebay. Which was probably decent enough Investment.
My 606 copies worked out pretty cheap too.

How are they? I'm probably going to get one.

I really like them.
There's a raised section on side the prevents it from turning in the drop out. So you don't need to use two tools. They seem plenty stiff. And they're pretty light too.
The threaded bits are a smidge long. Tempted to grind mine down for neatness. -

How much did it end up costing?

Sorry late reply.
I got stung for import.
Well I had them shipped to my parents, and they got stung.
