Don't try and fix anything yourself. It's illegal for anyone who isn't Gas Safe registered to do any non-cosmetic work to a boiler.

the only thing you can safely do, is turn the power off and then check both connectors to the fan are on properly:
if the fan requires replacing, then a recalibration of the burner combustion ratio will be required = competent (not 'competant'...) gas engineer

Keston c36 boiler
E05 error message which Iis an issue with the fan. Likely need the control unit replacing would be my guess but I'm not a plumber.
Currently no hot water since Friday
