  • Star wars 123... Meh. Hence my non enthusiasm ATM.

Attack of the titans, movie based on manga. Not read manga, movie is a pile of shit and I turned it off.

Crud acting, poor cgi blending and overturned "go for heart string clichés" did it in for me. Watch the first 20 mins if its OK for you then you may like it.

Nausicaa if you want an apocalyptic j-epic, the manga is superb too. Paprika if you like the weirdness / dream stuff.

  • attack on titan: watch the cartoon. it's ace.

  • New star wars looks like total shit. JJ Abrams always makes things overly schmaltzy and you can see glimpses of it in the trailer between all the nods and winks to the original films.

It's going to be the most beautifully made, terrible film of the year.

  • Attack on titan is brilliant.

  • Richie?

The music is fabulous on that... #italianspiderman #newpagelel

  • OK I'll try the anime :)

The live action, didn't it for me...

  • It's going to be the most beautifully made, terrible film of the year.

    you knows it!

  • Hate this attitude, like those cunts on Match of the Day who write off teams in the second week of the season.

  • Aint it the 7th week of a 9 week season?

  • Ah come on its gonna be fucking shitsville

  • Oh ok, won't bother then

  • honestly, after the last three? best option

  • This has got nothing to do with those films... sorry, I think I assumed you knew that

  • It's still a kids film though, right?

  • I'd say they're making it for quite a broad spectrum of ages

  • I don't know about that, with all those androids, and Pris' scary make-up ... depends on what you want to do to your kids, I guess.

  • If it's as good as JJ's first Star Trek film, We're all good.

    I'm loving all the memes.

  • ^ i'm sure i've seen that actor in another film... can anyone name a few?

  • Three men and a baby is probably what he's most well known for.

  • Haven't been to cinema since Avatar - tell gf I'm happy to break the duck with new Star Wars, Bond or Tarantino. She's booked tickets to Suffragette. fml

  • ^ i'm sure i've seen that actor in another film... can anyone name a few?

The Hitcher? He played the guy who catches Hitchers who don't realise (or don't want to acknowledge) that they ARE Hitchers and its about time they stopped trying to hitchhike everywhere, and they try and escape him.....

  • Anyone been to watch The Martian yet?

I saw it the other night, enjoyable enough and visually it's amazing, but I don't think it quite captured the tone of the book.

  • She's booked tickets to Suffragette. fml

Th problem is that you gave her the choice. Hasn't history taught you anything?

  • Where in SE or central London is showing The Program? I was expecting Brixton Ritzy would have it but no luck
