On that note, what car bearing puller should I get to remove a crank? Threads are stripped and LBS can't tap to 23mm size.
It's a Sugino Gran Mighty in champagne so I don't want to bin it.
If somebody has a Drive Side lonely crank...that would work too ;)
No need for a bearing puller. Put the bolt back in with about 4-5mm left before it starts to tighten and take the bike for a ride. The crank will loosen and the bolt will prevent it from falling off.
