The Cat Thread

Cats have about 10 crazy minutes a day and then they sleep.
Seems like you are lucky enough to witness it.

She's still eating, drinking, doing her business and in general, acting like a cat.

One thing did change. I just remembered this started around the same time. They are renovating the outside of the apartment building I live in and they put scaffolding on the outside of the building. When one of the workers that cleans or paints the building steps on it and I'm home, she comes to fetch me to the window to show me there is someone there. Maybe she's a bit scared of that.

Guard cat?

Yeah sort of. But she attacks with jumping on someones lap and waiting to be petted.

She also fetches.

Mine slept on my bed for the first time ever last night. Mrs Bash was on night shift; wonder if they thought I looked lonely?

I got that exact same pillow every night, but drawing on mine is white and yellowish and looks photo realistic.

No wait, I got a blue pillow my white and yellowish cat sleeps on.

The last one is so true and so sad... "yes kitty your human is still well and alive, your din din will be served now."

Tesla seems to have settled fully into life with us now. No more weeing indoors (probably jinxed now) and she is now fully emboldened to wake us up by walking around on us and at the weekend, jumping on us with all four paws off the ground.

She has also caught, killed and occasionally eaten numerous bluebottles.

My friend's cat has caught, killed and brought in two rabbits in 24 hours...through the catflap!!

Should I fear for his safety!?

What this picture does not show is the silent battle that is taking place for the corner seat of the sofa. I am slowly and inexorably being eased out, rather like a pythons caress when you breathe.

Only when he starts bringing cows in. They could get stuck in the flap and the poor little killer will go mental trying to feed the family.
