There's not much meat-on-the-bone with wheelbuilding: I doubt there's the price of a packet of luxury biscuits twixt the ten best in the country.
If you're paying for hand-built, then cost is (within reason) the least of your considerations.
Agreed not my primary concern, more quality and time. My last set took 3 months to build, and I'd want these for December 2015. Just need to find a reasonably priced G3
I can't remember how long the PT took, but it certainly wasn't three months.
One of my customer's had a wheelset built in September: looks like they were ordered on the 9th and were delivered to me on the 22nd.
