Why? Using your choice of cycling simulation software, show us the race in which you would have materially improved your prize money by having wheels 300g lighter.
Current wheels are heavy, have some cash to spend, kinesis wheelset would be around 605g lighter.
I don't race or have cycling simulation software so can't fully answer your question.
Are you saying lighter wheels would be a waste of money?
