I make peanut butter, oat and banana bars n'all - very similar to your recipe, but i use mashed overripe baanan and honey as the binding agent rather than melted butter.
I too have to freeze them as otherwise I just eat them all day. Not too sweet so they feel totally justifiable at breakfast, but sweet enough to eat as a 'desert' type thing.
The clif bar reference was a crap in joke (calls taxi)
... Or for homemade peanut butter flapjacks. I make triple batches of these regularly. Chop them up and pack them in that foil with greased paper on one side. Then Keep them frozen to avoid temptation. They defrost after 10 mins in a jersey pocket.
