  • At that time it wasn't the balls of my feet that were the problem, it was corns on both little toes which he pared down with a scalpel. Legacy of tight shoes in my youth. Using a pumice stone doesn't work for me, so the Body Shop foot file once a week does the trick.

    A visit to the chiropodist would be useful with self maintenance afterwards, interspersed with pedicures for those 'feeling a bit flush and I deserve a treat' moments.

  • Good plan. Also, the foot doctor might point out other stuff for consideration. Regard this treatment as 'personal investment' :-).
