• Hmm. Didn't know about the Magic Mouse 2. I was initially sceptical that a li-ion battery would be more environmentally friendly (as I presume it's not replaceable) but the article says it lasts a month per charge, and the average life span of a li-ion battery is 1,000 charges, so that suggests it would last 83 years. Or I've got my maths wrong.

    Now, is it better for me to keep using rechargeables in my Magic Mouse 1 (given the carbon footprint of a new mouse)?

  • Yeah, I use rechargeables in mine but it eats through 'em pretty fast. I get about 2 weeks on a full tank, using eneloops.
