Almost new Corsa tub, looks like a sharp glass puncture, took 3 lots of sealant to make leakproof, would you trust on a 3-4hr ride tomorrow? I have spares but not in 25's.

It's kept pressure overnight, and a new tub of tufo sealant turned up on the doorstep at 8am courtesy of DX/ Wiggle. On reflection, it was a big cut.

Bike 24. De has Schwable ultramodern tubs on a deal but they are veloflex carbons from a few years ago re-bagded. €30 each bought 6 to try out.

I'll be able to let you know what the new vittoria tyres are like as they have a stand at my shop on Saturday letting folk try out these new tyres. The pave has gone and is not coming back. The new corsa has the same casing that the old pave had but with the new rubber compound. I am waiting to see if this graphene is as magical as they claim. I hope so as then we could have a pave that feels like a corsa.

Magic corsa's will be my next tubs.
I really like my paves. But I may need to replace my rear if I keep skidding. I seem to be shit at using alu braking surfaces.
Not so bad in the wet. But they seem graby when dry.
Have to say the wet performance of the newer paves is impressive. I have them on my training wheels. One of the sessions I do is a flat speed session. Where I try and maintain a high average power. I've caught myself several times trying to push 250w downhill on a wet bendy Road. Much like with veloflexs. I find myself thanking my tyres for having that little extra grip that compensates for my little extra stupidity.
Except the paves definitely feel like they will last longer.

Mixing mastik. Assume this is instant death?
Where can I get mastik one in town tomorrow?

Condor is probably your best bet. I've got some if you fail in your mission.

Nice, I'll check 'em out today. Might come knocking on your door later though!

It's been mentioned in the tub thread.
No, instant death is not likely.
It might undermine your confidence in your setup tho

did they turn up? how are they?

I've still got a brand new, stretched but never glued pair of Schwalbe One tubs, anyone want them before they get put in The Parts Box of Doom?

TBF I might just keep them and cycle them onto the Serotta as the Gators wear out.

Yeah after seeing the tan walls I am kinda tempted .. hard to keep them clean though.

For arguments sake can we re-open the tape vs glue debate?
I am pro-glue atm, have glued tubs and spare stretched pre-glued spare that I used to carry but stopped since discovering Vittoria Pitstop. If I am going to pre-load the tubs with sealant AND carry pitstop do I need to carry a spare?
Its just that taping seems like such an easy thing to do ..
