I have those, would not recommend (even though they throw quite a bit of light): the plastic smells of lethal solvents (no kidding, I had to throw away the rubber inserts), the light changes to "low" mode when you ride on bumpy gravel.
Thanks for the info. If there was some way of attaching the lights via a home made mount, would you say they're worth a shot or is the overall quality too much of a problem?
Well. They are so cheap, I guess the light you get for your money can't be beat. I also bought a set of rechargeable AAA batteries to go with them, to try and offset some of the environmental impact of what must be their horrible production method.
