They will last more than twice as long as anything that costs half as much.
CK parts have to be looked at as a long term investment, and perceived value for money should be calculated accordingly.

But not eight times as long as something an eighth of the price, which is what Shimano 5800 hubs are (£51.77 a pair inc. post from Rosebikes vs. £409.98 for R45s from Wiggle)

They're awesome hubs, but they're not exactly one you can fit and forget.

Thanks all for the CK knowledge / opinions. Think that many notes is a bit too much for me at the mo, as hawt as they are....!
