Hope District+ claims to have an aero post mount as well as the standard round post one. No idea what kinds of posts it fits.

I have this issue twice over.
Bonkers aero seatposts, and aero Road bars.
The moon lights look great. Would be awesome if the front version had the same options. Or can you use the back bit of a rear light,on the front?
Other aero bar mounting front lights?I have a nice Exposure trace/tracer set. Which have served me well. But last night I discovered that they don't charge anymore (while on the top of a cold mountain Road as dusk fell like a lead blanket. Feck) . Both micro USB ports are oxidised. Will some contact spray solve this?

aero bar mounting front lights?
Moon LX100 seems to work:
The casing looks the same as the LX70 rear, so I'm sure you could use the alternative wedge blocks to get the best fit.

Brilliant.
Cheers.
Lx70 / lx100 pairing should be perfect for road use. -

I ended up sending my Strada back to Exposure and they replaced the PCB, button and lenses FOC which was cool. Given that I'd only had it for a year, it seems a bit of a naff lifespan for what appears to be a bombproof light. The unit basically stayed on indefinitely. It was actually on when I sealed the jiffy back to send it back which was amusing.

Moon also do an RB-23 option mount for Comet/Crescent/Nebula which should fit aero stuff, even if the RB-22 (R) or RB-24 (F) mount which comes with the Nebula doesn't

Awesome, will check it out

Brilliant stuff.
Might want a brighter front.
Thanks again. -

Fucking rubber / silicon straps snapping when you try and mount the bracket to the seat tube/handlebars.
-
• #4038
The aerolite looks like it comes with that mount. Would make a nice front. Then the rear nebular, or cresent on the seatposts using the same mount.
Perfect.

My nebular arrived to day and as a rear to be seen i would say its very good. The pinhead individual leds are a good idea over past incarnations of just 3 cree etc. Its aluminium body has a bit of weight to and appears quite robust. It also comes with seat clamp, v clamp, a belt clip and two long rubber straps and a usb cable.

Best battery (AA or so) powered front light?
I've a Hope Vision. Is there a better alternative?
-
• #4041
Get a Smart Lunar R1 if you are into changing batteries, but what makes you think for a front light?
-
• #4043
No, no. Disposable purchasable batteries. Kill the environment type of light.
-
• #4044
Yes for a front light, what is the idea I am intrigued?
-
• #4045
I like decent battery powered front light, I always forget to recharge rechargable ones so they die. With battery if it dies I can just replace battery.
Also alternative to dynamo. If good enough.

Hope Vision
Any particular reason for wanting something different? Pretty decent light.
Enloop(sp?) rechargeable batteries have a decent charge life, so you could get say 8-12, charge in one go when you're thinking about it and then use them like normal batteries. Hopefully that many would last in-between remembering to charge.

Just wondered if there was anything better out there, rather than an a necessity to change

My exposure flare fell of the saddle mount last night on my way home, I realised on the journey and back tracked to try and find it but couldn't. Has this happened to anyone before with the exposure flare saddle mount? The light fell off the mount, the mount is still on my saddle. Can I ask Wiggle for a replacement since the clamp essentially failed at it's job?

I successfully got a replacement from Wheelies for the same matter with a Moon Comet. Can't hurt to give it a try!

Best light set for 70 / 80?
Is hard to read backwards a massive thread.
As winter is creeping in and that.
I want to blind people into not pulling out on me, as happened this evening with my Lezyne set on.
