praising tubeless tyres, when our very own mdcc_tester has disapproved of their use?
Citation needed. I've been tubeless on my MTB since 2002, and will probably go road tubeless at my next tyre change. I disapprove of crappy so-called tubeless, which is responsible for nearly all of the bad press tubeless gets. Stick to UST-certified rims and tyres and all will be well.
With a couple of pints in me, the rugby on TV and the wife asleep, I've been left to my own idle thoughts. Inevitably, those thoughts have turned to the idea of building a 29er for trails fun and possible commuting joy (with slicks).
I rented a cheap one on the Isle of Wight a couple of weeks ago and I'm sold. I must have one.
As usual, I don't really know what I'm doing but I was thinking of an On-One Inbred frame. Suspension forks? Why do I keep seeing people in MTB threads praising tubeless tyres, when our very own mdcc_tester has disapproved of their use? I was considering a 1x? setup. 9 or 10, whatever's cheaper or easier to get hold of.
Then the remaining components like wheels, a saddle and some stickers etc.
This but with gears?
