Sounds about right, bit of a beard about him.

I disagree - I think the guy was a roll model. He aimed high, he reached for what he desired, and God dammit, he got it! He isn't a sad, frustrated bush wanker - he's a model of manliness who wears his passion for chubby Asian girls on his sleeve. Top shelf hero, I salute you!

@General_Lucifer I would wish the reason I started cycling was as interesting as yours, but then I remember I have no creative writing skills and so am happy with the asinine reality of my decision.
Cheers for another cracking read!
As an aside, ever contemplate writing a novella?
-
• #3257
Cheers, @matteroftaste - I've written a novel of about 140,000 words which was utter shit. It taught me to write a bit though, so I'm grateful for that.
I've got three novellas on the go, but confidence and self doubt keeps halting me. I feel really good with the Pantone Blues stuff but I know I've got to move on really soon. Even my work bollocks has a finite life. I am really ready to work on fiction, but I love producing weekly stuff that gives instant feedback. I hope I can do both though. -

ah really? Awesome. I'd love to read something from you that lasted a little longer, I'm always left wanting more. There's something in your descriptive style that reminds me of the lighter side of Irvine Welsh, and he's my absolute favourite author.
Keep up the good work! -

High praise, mate! I genuinely appreciate it. I need to polish my short stories which probably run into the many dozens, and work on my longer novellas. Knowing they might be wanted gives me a big boost!

My copy of pantone blues has gone walkies, how can I get another copy?

Visit any factory toilet north of Watford.

hahahahahaha!

I've lost 3 copies so far. It happens. Hopefully they're being read in grubby toilets by random people.
Fave tale for a while btw -

If your hold your shit in until after your lunch of greasy Friday chips, dubious sausage and a cheeky half, the reward of the Lucifer Poo (I might trademark that) will be all the greater.

No relation to Lucifer but very much a good shits story (which I now relate to General Lucifer for some reason, although no coffee involved) -
