  • Rice, Pasta, pasta salad, Potato, Bread w/ spread, energy bar/gel beforehand.
    It's not that tricky is it? You're a triathlete that's survived this long :P

  • Massive bowl of porridge made with an additional scoop of vanilla protein powder.

    Porridge has a very high CPI*. So good if you're running or riding far.

  • Assumption was endurance training. What's the science to adding protein to meals pre-training? Show working.

  • They won't be digested until some time in 2025 though... ;)

  • I just add protein to everything.
    Bit before. Loads after.

    But surely if you eat protein before a 60min run. It's available for recovery when you finish. Plus. If you do bonk a little. Your body is less likely to cannibalise your thighs.

    Not too much though. Don't want to load the digestive system.

  • Currently having Huel for lunch.
    Accept its not as good as a big box of fresh healthy wonderfulness but it's not complete shit and does the job. I have issues with portion control and snacking. At least this way I'm on top of the game.
    Fully accept that I'm a weirdo though.

  • I had four sandwiches with masses of toppings, and two huge thick pancake thingies with brown cheese in.

  • I went to meatliqour for cheese bacon burger, fries and milkshake. Winning.

  • The name of that place really skeeves me out. Sounds rank. No wonder you like it.

  • Massive pork belly with apple and bacon something and some god-knows-what jus on a bed of buttery potatoes. And crackling. Cake in a bit too. Just saying.
    I think that one lunch has invalidated the last week of starving myself.

  • I'm fake-touring today. Needs must, live off the land, etc. Pub was at least at the bottom of a hill so at the ride back up has [barely] helped things.

  • The pub situation here is shithouse. I almost didn't make it to lunch, the situation was so dire.
