I meant the spring inside the mech, it tensions the arm to the body. I think it's called the P-tension spring, Shimano mechs have two positions inside. The factory default is the slacker tension and there is another next to it to tighten it. I think it is there to reduce chain slap, which can lead to losing the chain.
In my paranoia, i've been trying to find as much information on it as possible. There isn't much!edit: Will take a look at my b screw, see if i can improve that. Cheers
I've got a raceface N/W in the front. Did you change the tension spring (not in the factory hole/slot) in the mech?
