  • Moto are the closest to 'vanilla' Android I believe, though only the Nexus will be running Marshmallow (https://www.android.com/versions/marshmallow-6-0/) out of the box.

  • Thoughts on Xperia Z5 compact? Need a new phone, HTC one M7 is having bad screen issues and broken bits) but I don't want anything larger.

Like the idea of it's size, a bit of waterproofness and expandable memory. Not so keen on price.

    Other suggestions?

  • The new nexus phones kinda annoyed me. I want the N6P in the N5x size.
I guess I'll probably get the N6P though, as I have to give back the phone I've borrowed.

Oh, but at least I can get Google Fi.

  • balls just realized, the N6P is huge and how about tracking rides / running ? :(

  • You should try software from hardware vendors. That really takes the biscuit.

  • I ordered the 6P... wait begins till Nov 11th :S Must be massive demand

  • same here, want 6P but how to carry it around? do I need to buy also handbag or sutin?

  • Stupid size. Don't buy it.

  • Are any of the two Nexi being released as a dual sim version?

  • I like the Nexus 6P, it looks really good. I'm going to see if I can buy a rucksack to carry it around in.

  • £100 android phone is the moto g right?

  • Couldn't wait any longer for OnePlus to sort out their stock issues.........went and bought a Moto X style.

Don't regret it at all, fookin amazing phone.

  • Moto E is £100 Moto G £140-150

  • And moto e is good enuff?

  • Do I spend £90 on getting my N5 fixed or just get a cheapie Moto G?

    Hmmm...

  • I've gone from Nexus 4 to Moto E and I don't miss the Nexus

  • My 2nd gen moto g has packed up after 18 months of steady abuse.

Now on a Huawei P8 which I bloody hate and an going to flunk soon.

Moto G, Moto X or the new Nexus 5 for me I think. Dual sim is a must.

Mrs is still using my old N4 which gives me more faith in LG than Motorola or Huawei...

  • What's the Moto G got/not got that would sway me away from Nexus devices?

  • it's cheaper

  • Moto G is waterproof, more or less and definitely available with dual sim.

  • Cost isn't that much of an issue. Waterproof is nice, but I've thus far managed to avoid dropping any of my phones in a toilet so I think I'm ok with that. Dual-SIM? Not sure what I'd use that for. What would be more handy would be the same number on more than one phone..

  • That's pretty much standard over here.

Dual sim is handy if you've got a work phone and don't want carry two phones. Also good if you have a data plan on, say 3 and call plan with another provider.

  • Apparently Moto E is better than Moto G.

  • Yeah, guess that makes sense. I try and keep work stuff off my phone.

  • In what way?
