• Any iPhone users out there are with O2? I have just switched back to an iPhone and so finally can, in theory, enjoy the 4G service that I am paying for (perviously Andriod phone wasn't supported by O2 4G).

My question is, now I have a 4G phone that O2 supports, 4G plan and a 4G sim, do I actually need to set anything up? I have tried using their setup website and all I am getting is error page time after time, and a quick Internet search results in many people in the same situation. Called to CS and was told there is no need to set anything up and all will be fine by yesterday pm - not true. Can't get hold of anyone from their CS as there is a long wait with everyone wants to take out the new iPhone...

My area has excellent coverage according to O2.

O2 online chat, well let me find a solid of wall and bang my head against it, as it'd be less painful.

  • Might be worth turning it off and on again, if you haven't already. I don't know why but it seems some networks/phones can only change settings when you restart the phone - going to flight mode and back doesn't work.

  • I have tried everything I could possibly think of, turning on / off, resetting the network setting, on/off wifi, tried the phone at different location etc. I even tried factory reset the phone which is brand new... The sim card is also brand new which is why they told me the transfer could take up to 24 hours (transferring calls ability and network could happen at differnet times etc), but nothing...

I still think I need to manually set it up through their website which hasn't worked since Friday and like I said, nobody from O2 is helping... so...
