My reynolds are a very similar width, and a 25mm tyre measures up at nearly 27mm when fitted which makes it very close in the chainstay

If you got a small Cannondale, the clearance is noticably less than the regular sized one.

20 mm tyres then? Mine's a 54 so I can get 23 mm on :-)

mines a 54cm also.

Annoyingly i think the 25mm tyres ride better, i wondered if some more modern wider rims would help
