You need to learn to use a tablet and pen, seriously. So much better for you. Search for Monoprice tablets on Amazon - they're not quite as good as Wacoms but they're a hell of a lot cheaper, and work very well. For general pointing they work just as well - I use one for 9 hours a day and it's sturdy enough to hoik around in my bag between clients.
