  • From the looks of it that is the draw back to it. I usually have my garmin pretty flat but the underneath may be ramped slightly to point the light down. I've taken a punt so when I get it I'll let you all know. They do go pro mounts and di2 mounts as well and they are all interchangeable. I shall report back in a few days when I get it. (Online order)

  • Dennis beat me to it but yeah. Bar fly. They do 2 different sizes depending on garmin. I went for the smaller (2.0) as I only have a 200. The light just straps on with the bands supplied. Black but red for image purposes I think. It says any cylindrical light will fit.

  • Cool, if it's not already ramped I can't imagine it being that hard to glue a small shim in place to achieve the same effect

  • Can't tell from the images =[

They do a bloody bottle opener to put on it! Ha.

  • $40 for the bottle opener though... :/

  • Aye, suppose it's a novelty really. Can't find any decent pictures of the mount. Will have to wait to get it...

  • There is a 2014 Equilibrium Disc Frameset in 56cm going for £200 on bikeradar

  • @amey @TM

Cheers guys, it's a good price but it was only £75 more brand new from that Paul milnes cycles. If it were the 2015 model id be panicking and throwing money at the laptop.

  • Dat colourway though.

And regardless of Paul Milne price £200 is still a bargain.

  • Aye, agreed it is a bargain for probably a great frame. But the heart wants what the heart wants (and for once the wallet will allow it... Just!)

  • What colour is the 2016? What colour is the 2015?

  • Haha. Not black.
I'm ok with that though, I really like the 2016 paint job, reminds me of condor mavic.
The 2015 is just grey but the benefit there is the carbon fork.

I'll end up with the 2016 frame I hope.

  • @Mechamorgan @andy_k

The mount arrived. Unfortunately it's with red rubber bands, oh well!

I think there is a tiny offset between the garmin and light. But we are talking like 1 degree. Luckily I like my garmin flat anyway.
Image is with the light at an appropriate downward angle on my current commuter.

  • Also that image definitely accentuates that single degree of offset

  • Good price with a decent spec. If I buy the frame alone I think I'll have spent bang on that so wouldn't need to send any bits back but I want the new frame haha. Used the garmin mount this morning. Worked pretty nicely. With the garmin flat the light was just about tilted enough. And the bars were super tidy!

  • Forgot to post a photo of the wheels. Shocking photography but the wheels look great in the flesh and will look even better when I take off the Aksium stickers and they'll be stealth black.
Tyres look super comfortable as well! Don't feel like anchors either even though they aren't the lightest wheels....

  • What are people's thoughts on the macho man over the equilibrium?

  • Oh dear, having second thoughts, again?
Aren't they more cx than the Equilibrium?
Can't say I don't like em though, considered one meself earlier in the year. Hold steady though.

  • Yeah, so close to the equilibrium release as well...
Only a month to go... (Ish)
But yeah probably is more cx than road. The orange paintwork was nicer as well anyway actually.

  • Yeah, not so keen on the red/white fades. I am also a sucker for an orange bicycle. You're wavering over which frame, I'm mentally building my dream bike, upto £1800 excluding handbuilt frame, good job I don't have cash in my bank or a credit card or that would be happening, along with a divorce!

  • plus one for sick fades; I use my macho man for commuting/winter miles so my advice will be biased. Have you considered 1x? ;) Also seen that orange on one gravel bike? £1699 for Force CX1 Hydro is phenomenal value. Its a decent design as well.

  • Yeah but cos I'm so impatient I already have the groupset, brakes, finishing kit and wheels. Just need a frame and fork... Haha

  • all city = chris king/white ind (murica)
    genesis = hope (UK)

There will be hipster tax on All city but if you like it go for it.
Like how they sell frankly underrated sam smith beers as 'craft' beers in Australia.
