  • Many events on fast courses get over subscribed and you need to post a fast qualifying time even to get a chance at a ride. However some clubs run the occasional 'slowest 100' riders events which give a chance for slower riders to ride a quick course. Depending on where you set your current PB, a decent ride on one of the fast courses could easily shave 60, 90 or more seconds off your current time.

    Ah, F10/10. I think the F20/10 was a fast course? They resurfaced it but it was still quick I believe. But it's not run very often, so you're probably better off riding some of the other courses whilst working on your position and training. Then hit a few fast courses once your times are coming down.
