I might be being too honest...
This was all I ever wanted when I was about 8-9. I can remember having competitions with my mates of how many 'bounces' of the suspension you could do whilst doing an endo.

I lusted after an Activator too, but I ended up with an Outland, I bloody loved it and its silly bars.
its still in the parents garage, and I cant bring myself to get rid of it even though it hasn't seen the light of day for years!

Who wanted a Spooky Bandwagon? No one. The one to have was the Metalhead.

Did we grow up on the same street? A guy at my work has a mint Activator 2 that he rides to work.

I wanted the Scott Pro Racing but ended up with a Scott Windriver (I could afford). Later I started roadracing and the dreambikes became Colnago Masters and other Italian steel studs. The nice thing of being older and earning some money, is that right now those bikes are so within reach, it's hard not to buy all of them.

I would have happily given a testicle for a Pace RC100 in the early 90's.

Oh man, I was so jealous when my mate got an Activator for his birthday. You spent most of your time riding it just trying to bottom out the whole 10mm of travel, haha. It was my birthday a week later and my parents got me a Raleigh Boulder with Gripshift, so stoked

Teenage me would have happily taken either, but I see your point. Would still rather have the Curtis though.

I had a Tazer, absolute nightmare for anything other than light-ish downhill but was so fun to ride.

A Kuwahara Laser Lite.
Or the Super Nova.
In silver and black.
I nearly got there, I had a second-hand Kuwahara ET instead.

Saved up for weeks for this...
First this:
A kid on my street had one, it was badass.
Then this:
I ended up convincing my folks to get me an Activator 2 for my 12th birthday in 1994, I was gutted when I eventually outgrew it. Probably still my favourite bike I've ever owned!
