Or go 40h tandem disc hub and just lace up every other hole...
The rims need to be designed for the forces of disc brakes, otherwise I could see the spokes just pulling through.
Didn't see he'd mentioned rims. Most info on 20h CX disc builds seems to focus on carbon rims anyway, assume they're reinforced by default (e.g. Reynolds originally releasing their Assault disc wheelset with brake surfaces...)
