Yeah I'm thinking what Ed said may be correct. Though it's interesting that they have a picture of Pavé's on their own wheels in one of the publicity shots further down in the catalogue!

Stupid Twitter.

What the fuck. Are they dumb tho. Seriously. What the fuck. Well, I'm sure they've tested their shit properly. Will give the Corsa a go next...

lol 'graphene revolution'

Have you also notice how others have been discontinued? they're simplifying their lineup.
In the past we have several variation of the Corsa range, from Open Corsa, Corsa CX, Corsa Evo, Corsa SR, Corsa SC, etc.
Now we have two variation, the Corsa, and Corsa Speed (in both Open and Tubular).
I am a little sad they discontinued the Open Pave, but if the new Corsa surpass it, I'd be happy about that, plus gumwall.

Vittoria rep said no.

...plus gumwall.
Don't tell Miro, he'll lose his shit.

To be honest, I was a little overwhelmed by Vittoria's large range, with their variety of vague names and random letters.
Shame they kept the Zaffiro range; They're shiiiiit. (in my experience)

That's that then.
Hopefully they'll be a useful disco, once the new line-up is released.

Didn't Michelin do something very similar with the Krylion Carbon a few years back? It was pretty much the top rated/purchased tyre on Wiggle and then they just stopped making it for apparently no reason (only to sneak it back in under a different name a year later)?

Just heard from Vittoria:
"Dear Jim,Thanks for writing us and for your interest.
We are dismissing for MY16 the Pavé model, replaced by the better performing Corsa, that features 4 compounds (4C) and Graphene as super additive.
We are already working, though, on different ways to spread the new Competition series so, stay tuned.
For many months to go you will find anyway Pavé tires.
Have a good day."
Could they be doing a "Radio 6 Music"?

Tubeless is the future.

Yeah gumwall for a winter tyre with mudguards. Fantastic idea.
-
• #2019
Exactly.

Not on the road, if the thread on here is anything to go by.

It is indeed odd that here is very conservative with the raving about disc brakes and 11 speed upgrades elsewhere.

Yeah gumwall for a winter tyre with mudguards. Fantastic idea.
Unless you have disc brakes.

Bang on the money!

Er what?
Gumwalls still get filthy with disc breaks and mudguards, Ed. It's not like the dirty road water and field runoff just fucks off magically because you've drunk the Cool Aid.

Am led to believe gatorskins are a bit slippy when wet, what's a good wet weather, puncture resistant road tyre?
I was looking at open paves...
Not as good as Sniffin' Glue?
