I have a Corima rear tubular (freehub) for sale in really good condition and running true.

Selling it as it is, with a single speed conversion (18t), and a 22mm Gatorskin with some life left. Naturally it can be converted back to being geared very easily.

    £250 ono £225 £195 £125

Pick up NW2 or I can cycle down with it to central, will probably post anywhere at buyers cost.

  • How do you change this to fixed? Got the same wheel but don't know how to

  • It seems it's not as simple as I thought. It requires locking the freehub splines. Not sure if there is a conversion kit with a freehub that has splines that are fixed and not sprung?

@mdcc_tester is there a relatively simple way of converting a freehub to fixed, I suspect no?

  • No

  • That's cleared then. Cheers @umop3pisdn

  • tester is there a relatively simple way of converting a freehub to fixed, I suspect no?

I can't remember off hand whether the Corima is impossible, dangerous or just uneconomic. All fixed conversions which are not a Fixxer fall into one or more of those three categories.

  • Thanks for clarifying tester!

So just gears or SS guys.

  • Price drop, £225

  • Fuck it, £195!

  • £150?

  • Whats the wheigt?

  • Around 1350-1380g with the SS conversion kit, skewer and fully inflated tub.

  • Will swap with a fixed disk if anyone is looking for that sort of swap. With cash on top if needed.

  • Just sold a disc that I would have probably swapped for this. And with the money, bought a 5spok

  • Sad times :(

  • £145!

  • £125, and you get a free mars bar.

C'mon, gotta pay my sister back for the N64

  • Have you tried timetriallingforum.co.uk? They love their tubs over there and you should shift it reasonably quickly.

  • Cheers tester, i'll give it a try.

  • 10 spd compatible? shimano or campag?

  • I totally would, to match the soon-t0-be front four-spoke, alas budget.

  • I "don't even tubular bro" but I will give it a look (cycletastic tmo?) - PM coming...

  • i'm still interested but just need to know if it's compatible with my group...

  • Form an orderly queue people! @jdmitch has first dibs, followed buy @Perdedor, then @Halcro

The freehub body is Campagnolo from what I know, so I assume that means it's Campag. I think it's 10 spd but I don't know what gears are really, they frighten me, so i'll need to double check this.

  • Campag suits me better so i'm still in.
