@Amey, the weather really made it. We were so lucky, it pissed it down as soon as we got back to London.
Got the Eurostar back yes, managed to book the bikes on with Euro Dispatch the weeke before for £30 a piece, worked very well. Drop off and pick up was seamless.
For a first ride out, it was pretty good. The TRP mini V's are excellent, highly recommend these. The wide Paenti rims were very comfortable, good in the cimbs, stable on decent and comfortable on gravel - 28's worked perfct and only one flat with Panaracers.
I'm used to Force 22 so dropping down to 10 speed Force felt a touch clunky.
