I'd just got a coffee from Aga's little Deli, coming back from a quick run round the lanes with Brixton. Hope the new bike is fun.

The new bike is for Mrs Ludd, after we went for a Kent ride with me on the Klein and her on luddlet #3's Frank Herety tourer, when she got a taste of what a decent light bike is like.

It's a Raleigh badged 531c ladies' frame renovated by Bob Jackson's and built up with decent touring wheels, a 1x7 shimano transmission, bronze tortec rack and sturdy mudguards, lovely nitto moustache bars and tt brake levers, topped off with a lovely B17 in honey with hammered copper rivets. it will be fun.
