Wasn't actually concerned, I was mocking your detractor.

Any luck finding "nice", short cranks?

• #305
Have you tried getting hold of the Metrons? Let me know if you find some.
-
• #306
Nope.
Best I can do are these Rotor in 160mm, but £340.

Or the Specialites TA Carmina are available in 155mm, but pricey for square taper.

Not yet available. Might never be.

"pre-order possible"...

They were announced in 2013 or something weren't they? I've never seen them available so I'll let you test that pre-order...

I'm currently using 165mm 5700s, they're OK :-) As I've steadily got quicker on the 165s after being stuck on a plateau with the 160s, I'm tempted to stick with 'normal' length cranks. 5700s have about 10mm less Q than the 160 square taper jobs I was using even with a 103mm BB. Omnomnomnoms are another 10mm narrower than 5700s, so I might go that way

The long lengths have been spotted in stock in various places, but the Vision website doesn't list anything shorter than 165mm so I wouldn't hold out much hope of ever seeing 155 or 160.

Can you see what it is yet?

Do the seat posts on the T3 have two seat-clamp-holes to allow for different effective seat post angles? Does it go in there? No idea what it's for though.

Another nifty light mount?
As I snapped the mounting boss off my Moon Gem the other day, a new light mount is part of my winter modding plan, but this isn't it.

Did you snap the boss on the light itself or was it the little carbon arm that snapped?
If it was the light, and you want to save yourself the effort of designing something new, then Tredz still had some moon gems a couple of months ago when I replaced mine.
Am I right that the round thing mounts in the seat post hole?

It's a Garmin 500 mount to be glued into a fibrelyte bridge

What is this, A paella pan for ants?!?! Take it back, and make it at least..... three times as big!

The boss on the light itself. I prefer the newer COB lights anyway, so I need to find a way to fit a Crescent/Comet/Nebula and a behind-the-arse bottle at the same time.

glued
Not glued, it has to rotate 90° (like the K-Edge TT mount) in order to get the Garmin between the sticks.

The view from the bridge. Obviously the side mounted buttons on the 500 are almost completely inaccessible, but my pre-programmed workouts don't require any button pressing while riding.

Elaborate lamp bracket, for behind-the-arse bottles and a Moon COB-type tail light. Think http://xlab-usa.com/images/carbon_sonic/carbon-sonic.jpg but with Tester levels of tartiness

Meh. I'm a cyclist, not a photographer. If you can tell what it is, it's good enough.
