That is real fine. Larger and more images?

Thanks! I'll try and have a few more images taken during the weekend. Also, if I'm lucky the postman will bring me some Compass 28s to squeeze in there tomorrow.

Really nice. What are the wheels?

Good work on the BJ, nice build. are those tires challenge, cant quite make out the markings

Thank you. Wheels are the Pacenti SL23 set from Superstar. Not the most exciting choice but hard to beat for the price. Hoping for a carbon upgrade in the future (I'd keep these for winter/gravel/climbing).
Tires are Clement Strada LLG 25.

1' headtube or 1 1/8?
Looks really good and the carbon forks suit it perfectly!

Moved all parts from my old conversion to a frame bought on here. Trying to figure out the original intended use, it has horizontal dropouts but drilled on the rear. Clearances are generous, currently fitted with 27 x 1 1/4.

love that. what bars are they?

Added a couple of finishing touches to my Argos a few weeks back, a chopped Brooks off eBay (which was posing as a swallow) and an old style but LED front light. Did about 25 miles/2000ft on it last night between pubs and it's just such an enjoyable bike to ride.

regular North Road bars, can't remember if Raleigh or some generic brand. They're quite nicely finished for the £10-ish I paid for it new. Tape is cotton.

That's a decent bit if climbing to the pub!

It was 4 pubs, and I live in Yorkshire so hills are sadly inevitable.

Found it on eBay, was about £4 with postage from china. Not particularly high quality but bright enough, I added electrical tape as it wasn't sealed at all .
Just eBay search "vintage bicycle light" there are a few more slightly more pricey nicer looking options available currently .

Awesome, thank you, I will take a look on the ebay.

Its 1 1/8. Columbus Minimal fork seemed like the way to go on classic steel.

if no one else has said it... all round winter trainer that can be used on the road as well... I have an orbit which is much the same.

or could be a path racer? (hi chris)

I would give that black Fizik Microtex soft touch instead of current grips. IMO that would make it 10/10

Minoura Gamoh porteur. I have one too, they're nice, especially if you have only one eyelet at the dropout. The Soma/VO offerings seem slightly better thought out though, options for front panniers as well as the bigger loads up top. I'd get one of those if I got another.

That's the current theory. Skinny tubes and wide tyres ftw
Gun metal grey?
Oh wait...
