Does west London even do good coffee? It always seems that the more salubrious an area, the more shit chains you get because whilst money can buy you many things, you're only allowed to buy them from recognised high street chains.

There's a Black Box Studio74 @ 74 Salusbury Rd, NW66NU, if you don't get any luck closer.
They had selection of our beans as espresso and filter couple of weeks ago, and change it every week. Always good choice. -

Does west London even do good coffee?
Where?
There's even a decent place on the Fulham Palace Road now, which was frankly a surprise.

It would appear not. Discovered yesterday thay the day spa (so fucking west London) I work next to uses decent beans but doesn't sell them. At least I can get okay coffee now instead of drinking the Lavazza diesel in the office.
Guess I will just do mail order. Managed to get a bag of Volcano Full Steam from the little coffee place in Herne hill station this morning.

Just google online. Temp stability is most likely to be the thermostat. It should be "stable" after 20 mins warm-up.

The guys in West Norwood? I had some of their espresso beans once and was very unipressed too.
The little hut in Herne Hill station that uses their beans isn't great either. Shame.

I had the worst coffee I have ever tasted in Sannat, Gozo, a couple of days ago. It was incredible.

I tried it a few years ago and it was awful - really, really burnt.
I've had it since and it's been better, but I've a feeling they're not very consistent in their roast.

I had a lovely volcano espresso from the Herne hill station place earlier this week. Possibly variable then given the reviews here.

I have never had a palatable coffee on Malta or Gozo. Always rank, and I'm really not fussy.
The generic filter coffee here in Yosemite tastes like red diesel but appears to be laced with whizz. Gets the heart beating like a fucked clock and fires you up for a days climbing. Free refills on this stuff makes it lethal... -

Unlikely, but I'm interested in Yorkshire/Lincolnshire/Humberside/East Midlands roasters.
My brother in law is opening a cafe. Any body he could have a chat with/get in touch with?
Muchos muchos. -

Could try North Star in Leeds http://www.northstarroast.com/
Anyone got any recommendations for places I can buy good beans in the Holland Park/Ladbroke Grove/ Notting hill area?
Don't suggest that Coffeplant place on Portobello though..
