Thank you :-)
Many comments and opinions are received with a huge pinch of salt. Some matter and some don't. Yours does -

you never sell a colnago. :)

You couldn't resist it after all then ;-) It's a beauty indeed. Happy with it as it is or have you future plans for it?
No, I couldn't. I never can actually. I missed a Pinarello 'team Banesto' and a Look KG243 just like that and man, that hurts...
I'm still not sure what to do with the Colnago Master (the one above): just keep it as it is with the 7 speed Shimano Tricolore (but will change the wheelset; you don't want them for your latest Colnago, they're Suntour ;-)) or put my spare Campa Chorus groupset on it. I think I just keep it as is for some time and finish some other projects first.
Nice new Colnago you've got yourself BTW! And it seems you have a perfect table and wall paint to take photos.

you never sell a colnago. :)
That is really a hard thing to do, that's right. I promised my wife to sell one as soon as I bought a second one frome the same type. I lied to her.

Go on, stick your bike up on the dining table to take a photo and see how that goes down ;-) I'll see if I can get a two for one deal at the divorce courts for us.

Btw anybody got a 7 speed uni glide cassette going spare, not dura ace though (I think the locking cog thread is different)?

Indeed, I think that is the 11th commandment

I only have (Maillard) screw on blocks for my 5,6,7-speed bikes (not intentionally).

That, I'm afraid to say looks absolutely hideous. I take it its been refinished by a third party?
I take it you're advertising it here AND on eBay, just so you know that's thoroughly against the rules of the forum.

I just checked - you've got this listed on over 30 websites and forums worldwide trying to shift it. You must be fucking desperate. No wonder, it looks totally gash.
What were you thinking about....

I just love it! It must be an intervention of fate as I've just ordered these and having the bike to match would just be a dream come true. I can't wait to turn up for a Saturday morning ride with that bike and all the matching gear.
My life is now complete ;-)

I'm not saying the idea of a tiger print Colnago is an affront to any notion of style, taste and the stunning heritage of Ernesto and his decor paint finishes....
But I am!
Whoever refinished this bike - hang your head in shame..

So I picked up the Super frame from the painters yesterday and can't wait to start building it up. It's an off white pearl however the photos make it look a bit whiter than it actually is. I'm going to leave it a while though as the paint is only a couple of days old but loosely fitted the BB and pressed in the headset so I can do a a few more bits later this week that won't 'stress' the paint. Although it's unlikely I'll ride in wet conditions etc I decided to have it clear coated anyhow. It's very shiny, too shiny in fact for my liking but a friend of mine suggested letting the clear coat cure then lightly polishing the frame with an abrasive pad to take the edge off the shine and give it a more 'period' look which is probably what I will do.
I've everything ready to go on, Nuovo record groupset and a lovely mint pair go GP4's on Record hubs. Only headset and callipers are Gran sport but as funds permit I may change them in the future.
