50/50 dropout and caliper?
Would be my choice - it doesn't look like they need much to be brought closer. I wouldn't really worry about a warranty on a Shimano calliper. When was the last time you saw one fail, let along fail within the warranty period? Plus it's not an expensive component to buy if it did fail down the line.
But if you don't want to file, sell both brakes; 1) they'll be easier to sell as a set, 2) you'll have matching breaks.

Thanks guys. I feel like such a clown. I even checked this... Just not with the right brakes.
If I wasn't in such a hurry I could have bought the group, built it up and then have it sprayed.
