They're going larger at the BB which makes it stiffer.

Quite tempted by a Talbot with Colorado concept tubing
-
• #1010
This would be the idea, a maximum of 3 bikes which would be available with the choice of either caliper or disc brakes, fully custom geo and room for 28's:
Serotta Colorado Concept seat tube
Columbus MAX bi-axially ovalised top tube
Columbus HSS down tube
Columbus tapered head tube
Paragon PF30 shell
Columbus Spirit chainstays
T45 pencil stays
ENVE fork
Paint
Fillet brazed, or TIG'd - buyers choice. We'd be looking at ~£3,000/ea.

Don't suppose you have any down tubes for an Atlanta repair please?
Cheers

Absolutely love this Neil. Am I first in line for dibs? ;)

I think you might have to have a discussion with T-V, but I have no intention of letting this go so that's academic.
Looking forward to seeing what the Pioneer unit is like, I was surprised that I had to remove the red pod in order to swap the chainrings, but it was simple enough.
Changing 6800 chainrings takes a bit of force- a surprising degree.

Just went through the whole thread today. (at least roughly)
And I really need to say that you have an superbe taste! Beautiful and well thoughtout Build.
I really dig Serottas. Nice to see another beautiful one out there. Thanks for youre effort. It was a pleasure to read!
Best wishes from Germany,
Chris

I love this bike, work and back today and it's just so much fun - even through E&C this morning.

Did you do the Lionheart Sportive this weekend? The two others I rode with both spotted a maroon Serotta among all the carbon.
-
• #1021
Nope, I went snowshoeing in Chautauqau National Park - 4 feet of snow here over the weekend.

amazing, how does it fare in Colorado compared to other bikes you've taken there?
(first serious dibs on the wheels)
-
• #1024
Please take some proper photos with those wheels on. Bike looks amazing. My joint favourite forum bike.

I shall the some proper pictures when I am back- and have put both proper tyres and a cassette on the wheels.
Colorado riding is amazing, as always I wish I had longer out here- flying back in just under 12 hours (half six in the morning for me), and will be riding Flagstaff shortly as a quick last spin of the wheels.
